There have been torrential rains throughout the Eastern Cape recently, particularly the last two weeks.
It’s resulted in many places in Port Elizabeth, East London and everywhere in between, flooding, tar roads being ripped up and bridges being washed away.
Port Alfred and its surrounding areas seem to have been the worst affected with the NSRI being called in and homes having to be evacuated.
